RE: Portable Waste Tanks

I use a 7 gallon tank from Walmart to keep the grey water dumped and dump a few times when I got nothing else to do when campin, when the indicator read full or 3/4 I'll just drain some grey and and rock on.But the black is another story,I have a 15 gallon blue tank and had never used it because I'm not usually at 1 place long enough to fill it up,however last summer I had my camper parked for to use 6 days, then my daughter and son in law was to show up with the 2 grandboys for about 5 days so i took the blue******tote along.Just before they was to show up I decided to use the******tote for the first time.Guess where a lot of the contents of the black tank wound up,the tank was too dark for me too see when it was full,I didn't vent it,and I had the black hose on cross threaded and crooked, yep right up my arm, down in my glove and a small amount under the camper drain before I realized it was happening to me,anyways the steaks I was grillin for supper that evening was rejected for lack of appetite and made a purty good breakfest with eggs.

Bike Racks

Seems like I read on here a few weeks back,or imagined it or dreamed it that there was a bike rack that fit over a spare tire.Does anyone know of one of these or can post a link that I can look at one.I just bought my wife on of those folding bikes and its real neat but I'd like a lil bigger one for me(26in)and would like to hook it to the back of the camper but the spare is there,a rack that fit on a spare tire would be good if I could find one.

RE: RV Toilet paper

Corn cobs works good, just toss them in the trash and flies wont even bother you.

RE: Fifth Wheel Brake Failure

With what little information you posted about brake failure, maybe you should try placing one foot on the truck brakes and pressing gently to hard.If you had a rear end collision maybe you braked too late. Not enuff info here.

Tent Quality Advise

Can anyone here on the tent forum give me some advice on a real good quality tent.I have a 5th wheel myself but my daughter and son in law is interested on doing some camping this year with us.Looking for one for 2 adults and 2 children, need advise on quliaty, size and anything that helps. My daughter ask me for advise on some tents but I haven't tent camped since the 70's and know very little about what is available today.I usually set up my 5ver and let them have at it for a week or two in the summer, but would be great to have them along side us in a tent.Need them grandboys to have some of them great camping memories with the entire family at the same time.Sometimes they get a cabin while we are camping but they are interested in a tent this year.Any help would be good. Thanks
